All biological events in the cell are governed primarily by changes in the expression of key genes. The ability of a cell to switch on and off gene expression drives all the biological function and activity. With this understanding we aimed to elucidate gene expression analysis in skin cancer by employing insilico CGAP project. Cancer genome anatomy project tools Sage Genei were used to analyze gene expression in skin cancer by comparing different library pools. We found three genes (AW078632, THRSP, and ADH1B) were highly over expressed in skin cancer by comparing with different pool libraries and their tags sequence are 2841, 2629, and 1801 times more in pool “B” libraries as compare to pool “A” libraries hence these three genes may leads skin cancer. It reveals that THRSP gene located on chromosome 11 and with start at 77774906 and end that 77775368. The gene ADH1B located at chromosome number 4 and with start 100226122 and end at their 100242556 position. However, the positions of AW078632 were not available at database. Our study conclude that data generated by using insilico gene mining tools like SAGE analysis provide a starting point for investigation aimed to delineating the molecular bases of disease.
